Bonjour! Je m’appelle Virginie, je travaille dans la petite ville de Misasa au Japon comme coordinatrice de relations internationales. Ce blog est l’occasion pour moi de partager les expériences, anecdotes et sourires que je rencontre dans mon quotidien. Misasa est une charmante ville thermale du département de Tottori, à l’ouest du Japon, agréablement située dans les montagnes faisant face à la Mer du Japon. Depuis 17 ans, la ville est jumelée avec Lamalou-les-Bains, une petite station thermale de l’Hérault, dans le sud de la France. Le poste de coordinatrice à Misasa a de nombreuses facettes: traduction et interprétariat, organisation d’événements internationaux, articles dans le journal local, visites d’écoles, conférences, cours de français et de cuisine française, etc.

Hello! My name is Virginie, I work as a coordinator for international relations in Misasa, Japan. Through this blog, I will share the experiences, funny stories and smiles I come across in my life here. Misasa is a charming hot spring town in Tottori prefecture, in Western Japan, nested in the mountains facing the Sea of Japan. For 17 years now, the town has had a sister city in South France, Lamalou-les-bains, a small hot spring resort in Herault prefecture. My job as a coordinator in Misasa includes various aspects: translation and interpreting, international event planning, writing articles in the town newsletter, school visits, conferences, French classes and French cooking classes, to say a few!

はじめまして。ヴィルジニです。日本にある三朝町に国際交流員として働いています。このブログでは、経験することであり、面白い話であり、私の三朝での生活を紹介したいと思います。三朝町は西日本の鳥取県にある素敵な温泉街で、山奥にあっても、日本海も遠くはありません。当町は、同じく温泉街である南フランスのラマル・レ・バンと姉妹都市になってから、もう17年経ちました。三朝町の国際交流員として、色々な活動をしています。翻訳や通訳、国際交流イベントの企画、町報のコラム記事、学校訪問、講演、フランス語講座、フランス料理講習などがあります。
